How to raise funds for your club
Please see the below brochure and poster to inform you and your club around how to raise substantial monies from taking trips to the Challenge Cup Final and Super League Grand Final in 2010.
Feel free to drop a line to Ray Tennant or Steve Gafney who are the leaders on this project. They’ll be pleased to hear from you.
There are a variety of options like ticket only, ticket and coach, or ticket, coach and overnight accommodation – and all raise funds for your clubs.
During 2009 we gave over £40,000 back to community clubs, and over 4,000 seats were sold. You can also access hard copies of these brochures by ordering from Rugby League Services on 01484544131. CCF Club Ticket Brochure

Safeguarding
Safeguarding is the means of protecting all children, young people under 18 years’ old and vulnerable groups from abuse or neglect.
The welfare of children and vulnerable within Rugby League is paramount and the RFL are committed to ensuring the correct policies are adhered to within the game. The RFL Safeguarding and Protecting Children Policy contains the principles which must be adhered to by all clubs in the game to ensure that young people in the game can be healthy and happy, and allow them to enjoy and develop in the game of Rugby League. This can be downloaded from the resources section.
The RFL Safeguarding team will support all clubs to ensure that best practice is followed at all times.
What to do if a situation occurs? There will be occasions within Rugby League where concerns emerge relating to the behaviour of individuals. Where a child, young or vulnerable persons may be in immediate danger or need immediate medical attention emergency services should be called on 999.
For serious concerns, neglect and abuse issues can be reported to the Child Protection Units at the Local Police, or Children's Social Care Services (formerly Social Services) or the Local Safeguarding Children's Board.
The RFL recommend all Club Welfare Officers to have contact details for the above agencies.
Best Practice: The RFL produces several documents which give excellent guidelines on how to go about best practice when participating in Rugby League.
