Hills Hoists to hold open training session |
The Hammersmith Hills Hoists Rugby League Football Club are calling on all interested players to come along to an open training session to be held on Saturday 6 February at Lillie Park, Hammersmith at 2.00pm.
The open training session is open to all people, of all nationalities, from beginners to those more familiar with the game. The afternoon will consist of a meet and greet, some light ball work and games and a BBQ and some beers, a Hoists tradition. |

Skolars announce Middlesex University rugby league open day |

An opportunity for talented rugby league players to combine their playing skills with academic achievement has been announced by London Skolars and Middlesex University.
The Championship 1 league side and the university in north London have announced an open day on Saturday 27 February 2010, with a special programme for students interested in combining their studies with continuing to play rugby league. Middlesex is holding an open day that day on its Hendon campus and the rugby league programme will run in tandem with this. |

Croydon Hurricanes meeting |
Croydon Hurricanes Rugby League club are stepping up their preparations for the 2010 season, by holding a club meeting on Tuesday 26th January. The meeting is open to all past, current and new volunteers.
The club is keen that as many people as possible turn out as this meeting will help shape the future direction of the Hurricanes, Club-co-ordinator Mark Roughsedge commented: “we as a club value and recognise the hard work and effort all volunteers put into making the Hurricanes tick, volunteers are the backbone not only of this club but the sport in general”. |

HARLEQUINS V CRUSADERS FRIENDLY CALLED OFF |
 Harlequins Rugby League regret to announce their preseason match against Crusaders Rugby League scheduled to be played this Saturday 16th January at Rosslyn Park has been cancelled due to adverse weather conditions. The decision was made after it became clear Crusaders RL would be unable to travel from North Wales to London due to the worst winter weather in decades.
