London Rugby League Celebration Day 2010 |
 On a bright and sunny Mothers day in North London, London Skolars played hosts for a large population of the community of London Rugby League. Although results did not go as planned for Championship one team on the field they created a fantastic atmosphere around the ground prior to kick off. On the lead up to kick off the North London Club displayed some of the new fantastic opportunities available for all to get involved with in London and the South East, using Touch and Masters Rugby League. |

Rugby League – A Game for All Ages |
 Rugby League is known as The Greatest Game by its’ followers who have an unshaken belief that is the toughest, fastest, most exciting team sport on the planet. Medway Dragons RLFC are at the beginning of their third season in the London & The South Leagues and have a thriving Mini & Junior Section. They have made incredible progress on and off the field and are ClubMark Gold accredited.
This season, the Under 7 team have swelled to nearly twenty players, the youngest of whom is just three, playing Tag Rugby League and having a wonderful time learning new skills and getting healthy and fit. The Dragons also play at Under 9, Under 11, Under 12, Under 13, Under 14, Under 16 and Under 18. |

Summer of Tag Rugby in London! |
 Try Tag Rugby London has unveiled details of their summer adult Tag Rugby competitions throughout the capital, with the first to start on the 21st of April at Finsbury Park.
Tag Rugby is a minimal contact team game in which each player wears shorts with velcro patches with two tags attached to them. The mode of play is very similar to Rugby League with attacking players attempting to dodge, evade and pass a rugby ball while defenders attempt to prevent them scoring by "tagging" - pulling a velcro attached tag from the ball carrier. |

Match Officials course success! |
An astonishing 34 people braved horrendous weather conditions to take part in the latest match officials course in the South of England.
Tutors Tom Mather and Darren Hayes the society development officers, went through an interactive session on the laws of the game and used a practical outdoors session to guide the would be new officials through the game of rugby league. |

Kingston College is offering a unique opportunity to continue with your rugby league development by joining the Kingston College Men’s Rugby League Academy in Partnership with Harlequins Rugby League.
The Rugby League Academy, for players aged 16 to 19, will start in September 2010. It will be based at Kingston College and will enable talented rugby players to continue with their on field development whilst combining this with study to give an advantage over the competition. |
