RFL tie up new Tag Rugby partnership in the South East |
 The RFL has agreed a new partnership with London-based company Try Tag Rugby to further develop the modified version of Rugby League in London and the South East.
Tag Rugby is basically Rugby League without the bumps and bruises and is an extremely popular adult recreational sport in Australia, New Zealand and Ireland where over 100, 000 players regularly take to the pitch. The game started as a training aid for Rugby League clubs in Australia, but has developed into Australia’s fastest growing recreational sport. |

Competition to win free kit |

London based teamwear provider, Code13 Sports Media, have launched a new competition to win a set of 20 bespoke rugby league shirts.
The challenge, if you choose to accept it, is to perform keepie Uppies with a rugby ball. The club with the most number of consecutive keepie Uppies will be declared the winner and will win 20 bespoke rugby league shirts. |

LondonRL 9's - Sunday 18th of April |
 2009 RLC Southern Premier Champions West London Sharks are hosting the inaugural London RL 9’s event this year on Sunday 18th April. The event is open to all amateur teams in the RLC and Merit leagues as well as Combined Service outfits and has so far had confirmed interest of clubs from four different divisions including three different tiers of Rugby League competitors.
The competition structure will see teams pooled in a ranked system dependant upon their division, and last years placing. Fixtures will kick off at approx 12.00 as teams will attempt to qualify through their groups for Cup, Shield and Bowl finals places. This should prove to be a tasty day with many agendas on the table for the clubs. |
